Remove or restrict access to infringing material when required under applicable service or legal procedures.
03

Copyright Infringement Notice

A copyright owner or an authorized representative may submit a written notice when they believe that copyrighted material is being used without authorization through a JavaVPS service.

To help JavaVPS evaluate a report efficiently, the notice should contain sufficient information to identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, and the rights holder making the claim.

Clear & Specific Reports Detailed notices help reduce delays and allow the reported material or activity to be identified accurately.

A counter notification should clearly identify the affected material, explain the basis for the dispute, and contain any declarations or certifications required by applicable law.

Submitting false or misleading information in a copyright dispute may have legal consequences. Customers should provide accurate information and only submit a counter notification when they have a legitimate basis to do so.
