JavaVPS is committed to maintaining a secure, stable, and responsible hosting environment. This Abuse Policy explains activities that are prohibited on JavaVPS infrastructure and the actions that may be taken when misuse is identified or reported.
Abuse Policy Overview
JavaVPS provides VPS hosting infrastructure for legitimate websites, applications, development environments, business services, and other lawful online projects.
Customers are responsible for how their services, applications, accounts, and allocated resources are used. Activities that threaten infrastructure security, compromise third-party systems, facilitate fraud, infringe rights, or create significant operational risk are not permitted.
Lawful Use Requirements
JavaVPS services must be used in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and the rights of other individuals and organizations.
Legal Compliance
Customers must not use JavaVPS infrastructure for activities that violate applicable laws or regulations.
Respect for Rights
Services must respect privacy, intellectual property, security, and other legally protected rights.
Accurate Information
Account and billing information should be accurate, current, and provided in good faith.
Security Abuse
JavaVPS does not permit activity intended to compromise, damage, disrupt, monitor, or gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, applications, or data.
- Unauthorized access attempts against systems or accounts.
- Distribution or operation of malware, ransomware, or malicious software.
- Credential theft, credential abuse, or unauthorized authentication attempts.
- Activities designed to compromise third-party systems or obtain information without authorization.
- Deliberate exploitation of vulnerabilities without appropriate authorization.
Network Abuse
Network resources must be used responsibly. Activities that intentionally disrupt services, overload infrastructure, or interfere with the availability of other systems are prohibited.
- Denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks.
- Intentional traffic flooding against external systems.
- Unauthorized port scanning or aggressive network probing.
- Attempts to bypass network security controls.
- Traffic designed to disrupt third-party infrastructure.
- Deliberate interference with network availability.
Fraud, Deception & Misuse
JavaVPS infrastructure must not be used to facilitate fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or impersonating activities.
Phishing
Websites, pages, messages, or services designed to obtain credentials or sensitive information deceptively.
Impersonation
Misrepresenting an individual, organization, service, or brand in order to deceive users.
Fraudulent Activity
Infrastructure used to support fraudulent transactions, deceptive offers, or unlawful financial activity.
Intellectual Property & Protected Content
Customers must respect copyrights, trademarks, patents, privacy rights, publicity rights, and other intellectual property protections.
JavaVPS may review credible complaints concerning allegedly unauthorized use of protected material and may request additional information where appropriate.
Email & Messaging Abuse
Email and messaging services operated through JavaVPS must follow applicable laws and responsible sending practices.
- Messages should be sent to appropriate recipients with legitimate authorization.
- Customers should maintain appropriate authentication and security controls for mail systems.
- Phishing, deceptive messages, malware distribution, and abusive bulk activity are prohibited.
- Attempts to deliberately bypass spam, abuse, or security controls are not permitted.
Resource Misuse & Service Stability
JavaVPS resources are provided for legitimate workloads. Customers are responsible for configuring applications and services in a way that avoids unnecessary operational impact.
Applications should operate within the purchased service resources and reasonable technical limits.
Stored data must comply with applicable laws and JavaVPS policies.
Network activity must not intentionally create disruption or excessive operational risk.
Investigation & Action
When JavaVPS receives a credible abuse report or identifies activity that may violate this policy, the matter may be reviewed based on the available information.
Depending on the circumstances, JavaVPS may request clarification, additional information, corrective action, or take protective measures necessary to reduce security, operational, legal, or financial risk.
